Sylvia is a third-generations jeweler,
incorporated Sylvia's Designs and Estate Jewelry
in September 1995. For fifteen years prior to the
opening of her store Sylvia worked in her grandparents and
mother's Jewelry stores as a jeweler.
Only two employees began working for Sylvia
and in seven years she has a staff of eight.

Special events are held semi-monthly to help
Nominated as Small business person of the year 2000 by the Slidell Chamber of
Commerce.
Sylvia started her jewelry repair and design store and quickly added Estate
Jewelry an repair. Sylvia's love of Estate and Antique Jewelry began as a hobby
but quickly became a major part of her store.

Sylvia has received certification from the National Association
of Jewelry Appraisers. Diamond Certification for diamond colored stones
and Estate Jewelry from Jewelers of America. Jewelry repair degree from
the Trenton Jewelry School. Certification from Gemological Institute for
Americas for Their Diamond Seminar. Attended Pearl education seminars at Jewelers of LA Conventions.
